In a word, NO!
It’s much better to have a skin care routine that your skin is compatible with. At Face Reality Acne Clinic, we always test our clients’ skin to make sure that the serum is not too strong. If your acne product is strong enough for you to feel stinging then you will end up with dehydrated, irritated skin. And, if your skin gets too dehydrated, you will have to stop using the active products (the products that get your skin clear) all together and wait for your skin to come back to normal. In that time that you stop using product, the acne is forming down deep in the dermal layer which will show up 30 to 90 days later.People with darker skin tones have to be especially careful in not using products that are too strong. Stinging products can make their skin hyperpigment and they end up with dark spots and acne!
Professional skin care products can be very active and strong which is what you need to get clear skin. But they don’t need to be so strong that they end up burning your skin! The best acne medication is one that is right for your skin type, skin sensitivity and especially for your type of acne. Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to getting rid of your pimples, blemishes and blackheads.
